A flâneur is a detached pedestrian observer of a metropolis, a “gentleman stroller of city streets”
The term flâneur (or jetter) comes from the French verb flâner, which means "to stroll". A flâneur is thus a person who walks the city in order to experience it. Because of the term's usage and theorization by Charles Beaudelaire and numerous thinkers in economic, cultural, literary and historical fields, the idea of the flâneur has accumulated significant meaning as a referent for understanding urban phenomena and modernity.

I am so Happy for both of u coz ur finally realising one of ur dreams...to go on a mission...
helping others in need is a great gift and u will come back with ur heart full of memories, faces, questions, experiences, and sometimes tears...
U will get attached to some kids when u see the smile on their faces when they have the "NEW" eyeglasses and when they can really SEE...SEE is something we take for granted sometimes while it is a gift from God...
