A flâneur is a detached pedestrian observer of a metropolis, a “gentleman stroller of city streets”
The term flâneur (or jetter) comes from the French verb flâner, which means "to stroll". A flâneur is thus a person who walks the city in order to experience it. Because of the term's usage and theorization by Charles Beaudelaire and numerous thinkers in economic, cultural, literary and historical fields, the idea of the flâneur has accumulated significant meaning as a referent for understanding urban phenomena and modernity.

This reminds me of the bad old depressing winters (years) in Montreal, all the windows in the house!! Glad to be getting out of it, into rain and cold and muddy winters for a change!

Do you have similar pictures with rain/water drops instead of ice?
I found one I wanted to use as an image on my laptop, unfortunately it had a distracting logo on it.
I'll try to show it to you. I love this concept of water/ice on glass.

I don't think I do have one with water drops...
I have the one with the truck in the background. (it is posted on urban_memories)
I have another one with windshield wipers... but nothing that poetic...

They reported 30 to 45 meters of snow fall on Lebanon files. Crazy people!
Anyway, _z here is the picture I was talking about. It is actually bigger, with better details but I had to crop because of a logo on one of the corners.
